Early Years and Background

Lindsay Korman was born on April 17, 1978, in Palm Springs, California. She was interested in the entertainment industry from a young age. Her beautiful face was an added advantage when it came to various roles. Lindsay started singing when she was 11. She also took part in various beauty contests. She participated in several contests, and on one occasion she was the national talent winner of the Young Miss American Beauty Pageant. After that, she went on to do commercials for various companies before pursuing an acting career. Lindsay Korman appeared in several Broadway productions before making her television debut.

Acting Career

Lindsay Korman ventured into the acting industry in the late 1990s. She appeared in a few Broadway productions before getting her major TV role. In 1999, she auditioned for the role of Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald on NBC’s Passions. She landed the role and was part of the show up to 2008. In 2000, Lindsay Korman received her first nomination for her role in the show. She received a Soap Opera Digest Award nomination for Outstanding Female Newcomer.

Lindsay received three other nominations for her role in Passions. In 2002, Lindsay appeared as a guest in The Weakest Link. Seven years later, Lindsay landed yet another bigger role. She was to portray Arianna Hernandez in Days of Our Lives. The role brought her to the spotlight and the following year (2010), she got yet another major role. Lindsay portrayed Cara Castillo in All My Children.

Her other credits include The Challenger, Death House, Evil Doctor, Killer Twin, The Wrong Nanny, and Deadly Exchanged. Lindsay Korman portrayed Sam McCall in General Hospital in 2020, 2022 and 2024.

Personal Life

Lindsay Korman has been married and divorced once. She met actor Justin Hartley in the early 2000s when she was still finding her way in the competitive acting industry. They grew close, and before long, they started dating. Lindsay Korman and Justin Hartley exchanged their wedding vows in 2004 in a beautiful ceremony attended by their family and friends.

After her marriage, Lindsay Korman dropped her last name and took Justin’s last name. Lindsay and Justin went on to have a good marriage that gave rise to one child. However, the couple began experiencing marital issues that were threatening their union. They tried working it out but they could not come to an agreement. As such, they divorced in 2012 after 8 years together. The couple agreed to co-parent their only child.

Even after the divorce, Lindsay did not drop Justin’s last name, she still goes by the name Lindsay Hartley.
