Nolan Freeman is an American actor and producer known for Shameless, NCIS, and The Rookie. With over 10 years of experience, Nolan has made a huge impact in the entertainment industry. Nolan might have made guest appearances in shows like Shameless, but his impact was felt. He hit the spotlight in early 2024 for attacking the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Several other individuals were arrested in connection with the attack. Some of those arrested were actors.

Acting Career

Nolan Freeman has been in the acting industry since 2010, appearing in various short films. However, it was in 2015 that he came into the spotlight after portraying Sully in two episodes of Shameless. He had an excellent performance on the show, and several critics praised him. January 6th Capitol Attack

Nolan Freeman was one of the Trump supporters who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Trump did not admit loss at first; as such, he did a number of things to stop the inauguration of Joe Biden as the U.S.’s 46th president. He rallied his supporters to storm the Capitol to disrupt Congress while they were doing the last count. As such, Nolan Freeman moved from Nevada, where he resided, and stormed the Capitol on January 6.

This act was considered an insurrection, and the FBI began looking for individuals who were involved in the attempted “coup d’etat.” The FBI started looking at surveillance cameras as they rounded up the Trump supporters who were in that attack. The FBI provided a video in which Nolan Freeman was seen inside the Capitol.

According to the surveillance video, Nolan was in a red hoodie, red cap, and a black jacket. He was in the building for 26 minutes and he was seen in various parts of the building, including the Memorial Door, the East Stairs, the Upper House Door, the Crypt East and Main Door Hall. Further records indicated that Nolan Freeman had boarded a plane from Nevada (home state) to Washington, D.C on January 4, returning on January 8. That shows that on January 6, he was in the Capitol. Additionally, cell phone records indicated that his phone was inside the building on that fateful day. He was arrested on March 19; however, the aftermath of the case is unknown.
